Hanyar Gaskiya Discipleship Ministry (HGDM) gives all glory to God for His faithfulness throughout the ministry’s journey. The testimonies recorded through the ministry are evidence of God’s grace, provision, protection and transforming power. Through evangelism, discipleship, prayer, revival meetings, healing crusades and pastoral care, HGDM has witnessed people surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ, believers being renewed in their faith, families receiving encouragement, churches being strengthened and new believers beginning their journey of discipleship.
Throughout the ministry’s activities, God has continued to provide through faithful partners, churches, friends and individuals who have supported the work through prayers, financial assistance and practical contributions.
Even in seasons of limited resources, HGDM has continued to experience God’s provision for the advancement of the Gospel. Our testimony is simple: God has remained faithful.
Mission work often takes place in difficult environments and requires travelling to remote communities. Despite these challenges, HGDM testifies to God’s protection over its workers and ministry activities. The Lord has preserved ministry teams during evangelistic outreaches, revival meetings, discipleship programmes, mission journeys and community visits. He has also given the workers strength, wisdom, courage and endurance to continue serving despite challenging circumstances.
The ministry has also witnessed the strengthening of churches through biblical teaching, revival meetings, discipleship and leadership development.
Beyond the Church, HGDM’s programmes have brought encouragement and hope to communities through literacy training, vocational empowerment, compassionate ministry and support for vulnerable and persecuted believers.
Every testimony recorded through HGDM points back to the same truth: God is faithful. He has provided when resources were limited, protected His servants in difficult places, opened doors for the Gospel, strengthened His people and continued to transform lives through His Word.
Hanyar Gaskiya Discipleship Ministry continues to trust God for greater opportunities to proclaim Christ, raise disciples, strengthen the Church and reach communities that have limited access to the Gospel.
Lives Transformed Through Discipleship, Care & Opportunity
Nurse Mrs. Suwaiba Jorong
Hayin Garba, Sabo LGA, Kaduna State
From a Supported Student to a Qualified Nurse Mrs. Suwaiba Jorong is a beautiful testimony of what God can accomplish through discipleship, education, care and consistent support. Her journey began from the earliest stages of education nursery, primary school, secondary school and A-Level. Through the support and discipleship structure of Hanyar Gaskiya Discipleship Ministry, she was encouraged to pursue her education, develop her future and establish her family. Today, Mrs. Suwaiba is a qualified nurse and continues to grow as a source of strength and encouragement to others. Her journey demonstrates the importance of giving people not only immediate assistance, but also the opportunity, mentorship and support needed to develop their God-given potential. Her life reminds us that when a person is given opportunity, love, mentorship and support, that person can eventually become a blessing to many.

Bilkisu Yahaya, Kogi State
From an Islamic Background to a Life in Christ. Bilkisu Yahaya’s story is a powerful testimony of faith, discipleship and God’s mercy. Coming from an Islamic background, Bilkisu faced rejection and persecution following her decision to follow Jesus Christ. Her decision also brought significant challenges within her marriage and family. Through the music ministry of Visionary Evangelist Bilhatu Ali, God touched her heart and led her to Christ. She was subsequently received into Hanyar Gaskiya Discipleship Ministry, where she received discipleship, mentorship, encouragement and practical support. With the encouragement and financial support she received, Bilkisu was able to establish herself through business and poultry farming. Today, she continues to stand firmly in her faith, build her life and encourage others through her journey. Her story reminds us that rejection cannot stop the purpose of God. We give God all the glory for His transforming work in Bilkisu’s life.

Salome A. Ali
Kargo Village, Ikara, Kaduna State
A Journey of Restoration and Purpose
Salome A. Ali is a testimony of restoration, perseverance and discovering purpose. For many years, Salome suffered terribly from sickness. Despite her father’s ministry background, the family struggled to know what to do. Eventually, she was brought into the care of Hanyar Gaskiya Discipleship Ministry, where she received care, prayer, discipleship and encouragement. By God’s grace, her life began to change. Today, Salome is growing in her calling and service to God. She is developing as a discipler, counsellor, prophetess, songwriter, song minister and chorister.
She is also continuing her education at A-Level and doing well. Her journey reminds us that a difficult beginning does not determine a person’s destiny.
We celebrate what God has done in her life and trust Him to continue taking her from strength to strength.

Ibrahim Abdul, Gombe State
Standing Firm Through Persecution
Ibrahim Abdul’s journey is a testimony of God’s faithfulness during a difficult season. Because of his Christian faith, Ibrahim experienced rejection and persecution from members of his own family. During that difficult period, Hanyar Gaskiya Discipleship Ministry stood with him through discipleship, encouragement, prayer and financial support. The support he received helped him remain strong and continue standing firm in his faith. Today, Ibrahim is a Christian songwriter and music minister. He has continued to grow spiritually, establish his life and build his family. He is happily married and continues to use his musical gifts in Christian service. His journey demonstrates why discipleship must go beyond preaching. Sometimes, discipleship means standing beside someone when they are going through their most difficult season.

Salome Dahiru Taaziya
From Darkness to the Light of Christ
Salome Dahiru Taaziya is another testimony of God’s transforming power through discipleship. Through Hanyar Gaskiya Discipleship Ministry, her faith was strengthened and she experienced a transformation from darkness into the light of Christ. HGDM supported and encouraged her spiritually while also assisting her educational journey. She successfully completed her A-Level studies. Through the guidance and support she received, Salome also entered into marriage and is now happily married. Her story demonstrates that discipleship is not only about preaching to people. It is also about helping people grow spiritually, emotionally, educationally and practically. Today, we celebrate God’s work in Salome’s life and trust Him for even greater things ahead.

Timothy Suleiman
Yarzzara LGA, Kaduna State
From Discipleship to Leadership and Service. Timothy Suleiman is a testimony of faithfulness, education, discipleship and service. His educational journey began through the support and discipleship structure of Hanyar Gaskiya Discipleship Ministry. Through mentorship and encouragement, he continued his education and eventually became a nurse through the Community Health programme. By God’s grace, Timothy graduated and today serves faithfully as the General Secretary of Hanyar Gaskiya Discipleship Ministry. His journey demonstrates what can happen when a young person receives: Spiritual guidance + Education + Opportunity + Responsibility
These investments can help develop a young person into a leader who serves others. Timothy is also happily married to Mrs. Angelina.

Investing in a Life, Building a Future
Angelina Suleiman is another testimony of the investment Hanyar Gaskiya Discipleship Ministry has made in young lives. Through the ministry’s support, Angelina was assisted throughout her educational journey—from primary school through secondary school and A-Level. During these years, she received not only educational assistance but also training, discipleship, mentorship and spiritual guidance. Today, Angelina is happily married to Mr. Timothy Suleiman, the General Secretary of HGDM.
Her journey reminds us that investing in one person’s life can produce fruit that continues into the next generation.

Tamar Hassan
From Educational Support to Professional Service. Tamar Hassan is another example of a life touched and strengthened through Hanyar Gaskiya Discipleship Ministry. She began her A-Level education through the support of HGDM and continued faithfully until completing her studies. She subsequently became a nurse in the pharmacy field and is now serving and doing well in her profession.
Her journey represents an important aspect of HGDM’s vision: to identify people who need support, provide opportunity, disciple them and help them become productive members of society who can also help others. Tamar’s journey is a reminder that meaningful investment in people can produce lasting transformation.
