Hanyar Gaskiya Discipleship Ministry (HGDM) is a Christ-centered, interdenominational mission ministry committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples, strengthening the Church and reaching unreached communities, particularly among the Hausa, Fulani and other peoples of Northern Nigeria.
The story of HGDM is ultimately a story of God’s faithfulness.
What began from a divine calling given to Evangelist Mrs. Bilhatu Jakadiya Ali has developed into a ministry committed to evangelism, discipleship, revival, healing, leadership development, literacy, vocational empowerment, Gospel music, Bible translation, care for new converts and support for persecuted believers.
The ministry’s foundational vision was received in 2006. In 2008, Evangelist Bilhatu received Cross-Cultural Evangelism training through ECWA African Services.
In 2013, a mission centre was established at Bagado II, Kamazou, Kaduna State, providing a base for prayer, evangelism, discipleship and spiritual restoration.
Since then, HGDM has continued to take the Gospel into villages, rural communities, mission fields and areas where Christian witness is limited.

The First Half of 2026
January–June 2026 was another significant season in the ministry’s journey.
During these six months, HGDM continued proclaiming the Gospel, discipling believers, strengthening churches, training ministry workers and ministering to communities across Northern Nigeria despite financial, logistical and security challenges.
Among the major activities during the period were:
(1)The School of Missions & Discipleship, held from 25 January to 7 February 2026.
(2)Jesus Light & Healing Crusades conducted between February and June.
(3)Village evangelism and mission outreaches.
(4)Follow-up and discipleship of new believers.
(5)Ministry to persecuted believers.
(5)Prayer meetings, revival programmes and spiritual mentoring.
(6).Leadership development and practical ministry training.
(7)Continued literacy and vocational programmes.
(8)Expansion of ministry relationships and partnerships.
(9).The successful launch of the official HGDM website.

Lives Were Touched
The greatest measure of HGDM’s impact is not simply the number of programmes conducted but the lives changed through the Gospel.
The ministry report records people surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ, new believers beginning discipleship, Christians being renewed in their faith, churches receiving encouragement and teaching, and communities experiencing renewed hope through the message of Christ.
Through evangelism, discipleship, counselling, prayer and revival ministry, people have experienced spiritual transformation, while others have grown into committed disciples and ministry workers.

Training Disciples for the Harvest
The School of Missions & Discipleship remains one of HGDM’s flagship ministries.
The January–February 2026 programme combined biblical teaching, prayer, worship, evangelism, practical ministry and mentorship. Training included biblical foundations, evangelism, discipleship, prayer and fasting, leadership, church planting, ministry ethics, cross-cultural ministry and practical outreach. The goal is not simply to produce students, but disciple-makers who will disciple others.

The ministry reports commitments to follow Christ, spiritual renewal among believers, strengthened churches, testimonies of healing and answered prayer, and new relationships with communities for continued discipleship and follow-up.

The ministry also testifies to God’s provision through churches, ministry partners, friends and individuals who supported the work through prayer, finances and practical assistance.
