Evangelism and Gospel Outreach
Evangelism remains at the heart of Hanyar Gaskiya Discipleship Ministry (HGDM). In obedience to the Great Commission, the ministry continues to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to communities where access to biblical teaching and discipleship remains limited.
HGDM carries out evangelistic ministry through village outreaches, open-air preaching, house-to-house visitation, revival meetings, prayer gatherings, discipleship meetings and follow-up visits to new believers. During the reporting period, ministry teams travelled to villages, towns and remote settlements, sharing the message of salvation and encouraging people to begin or strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Reaching Unreached Communities
A major focus of HGDM’s evangelistic ministry is reaching Hausa, Fulani and other communities where the Gospel has limited access.
The ministry seeks to go beyond one-time evangelistic events by building relationships with communities, connecting new believers with discipleship opportunities and working alongside local churches and ministry leaders for continued spiritual growth.
Methods of Outreach
HGDM’s evangelistic activities include:

Impact of the Outreach
Through these efforts, people have heard the Gospel, some have surrendered their lives to Christ, believers have been encouraged and strengthened, and new opportunities have opened for continued discipleship and ministry. The ministry also reports that evangelistic outreaches have helped establish relationships with communities that can provide opportunities for sustained Gospel witness, church strengthening and future mission activities.
Challenges in the Mission Field
HGDM continues to minister despite challenges including difficult terrain, transportation limitations, financial constraints and security concerns in some areas. These challenges have strengthened the ministry’s dependence upon God and increased its commitment to prayer, partnership and the training of more workers for the harvest.
