The mission field continues to present opportunities for the Gospel.
 Many people have heard the message of Jesus Christ, including people hearing the Gospel for the first time. New believers have begun their discipleship journey, existing believers have been encouraged, and local churches have received teaching, prayer and fellowship. Through these relationships, HGDM is also identifying opportunities for continued discipleship, follow-up and future mission engagement.
 
Challenges on the Field
 Serving in remote communities comes with significant challenges. These include difficult road conditions, inaccessible villages, limited transportation, financial limitations, security concerns, shortages of Bibles and discipleship materials, and language and cultural barriers in some communities.
 
Yet these challenges have not stopped the work.
The ministry continues to depend upon God’s protection, provision, strength and guidance while seeking to remain faithful to the Great Commission.
 
Looking Ahead
HGDM desires to take the Gospel to more communities, strengthen relationships with local churches and Christian leaders, provide consistent follow-up for new believers and develop lasting Christian witness in communities that have limited access to the Gospel.
